Telerehabilitation of patients with complications from COVID-19

Patients who have recovered from moderate to severe COVID-19 often have cough, shortness of breath with little physical activity, muscle hypo- or atrophy, functional and psychological problems, disorders of the digestive system, and other complications.

Telerehabilitation will increase the effectiveness of the recovery period during self-isolation, and will also be able to provide access to rehabilitation for patients who live in remote areas or who are unable to undergo face-to-face rehabilitation.

The COVID REHAB cloud platform was created by the IPat LLC team together with TelePat LLC and the “National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology” of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation (NMRC RB). The project started at the end of May 2020 due to the relevance of the rehabilitation of those who recovered from COVID-19. The platform is based on temporary guidelines developed at the NMRC RB.

The goal of the project is quick recovery and minimization of the risk of complications at the outpatient stage of treatment after discharge from the hospital.

Learning drainage breathing technique.
Neuropsychological training: consultations, psychological support.
